This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California, +1 more state.
• Oversee revenue management and commercial strategy initiatives across various properties.
• Perform performance evaluations and assess KPIs to gauge the effectiveness of revenue management.
• Work in tandem with general managers, sales directors, and marketing managers on cohesive sales and marketing campaigns.
• Track market trends, competitor pricing, and demand factors to enhance pricing strategies.
• Examine historical data, booking trends, and demand forecasts for pricing, inventory distribution, and allocation decisions.
• Utilize revenue management systems and tools to produce reports and monitor performance metrics.
• Discover opportunities for revenue optimization throughout the area.
• Establish and nurture relationships with OTAs, GDS, and other distribution partners.
• Collaborate with property teams to negotiate and manage group, corporate, and other revenue-generating accounts.
• Stay updated on emerging trends, industry changes, and technological advancements, integrating insights into area-wide initiatives.
• Demonstrated experience in hotel revenue management and commercial strategy development, showcasing a successful track record in a leadership or managerial capacity.
• Expertise in revenue management software, commercial strategy tools, and CRM systems such as SynXis, Duetto, and Concerto.
• Experience in revenue management for both independent and IHG branded properties is strongly preferred.
• Previous experience managing revenue strategy for multiple properties or regions within a hotel or hospitality group is highly favored.
• Strong project management capabilities.
• Excellent analytical skills with the capability to interpret complex data, identify trends, and formulate actionable insights and recommendations.
• Outstanding communication, negotiation, and interpersonal abilities.
• Strategic thinking and adept problem-solving skills.
• Leadership qualities with the ability to inspire and motivate teams.
• Adaptability to changing market conditions and business priorities.
• Knowledge of industry regulations, revenue management principles, and best practices in commercial strategy.
• Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Advanced degree or professional certification in revenue management or commercial strategy is preferred.
• Prior experience in a diverse and multicultural hospitality environment is preferred.
• Willingness to travel as necessary.
