This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California, +2 more states.
• Report to the Regional Business Director and collaborate with customer-facing and headquarters teams in the Oncology sector.
• Supervise and lead a team of 5–8 Senior Oncology Account Specialists.
• Drive sales performance for the business portfolio while assessing area stakeholders and market trends.
• Conduct regular in-field and virtual coaching sessions, as well as observations of Field Sales Representatives.
• Maintain consistent customer contact and partner with marketing and channel colleagues.
• Ensure compliant execution, understanding of policies, and foster a culture of integrity.
• Manage area hiring, conduct live and virtual coaching, oversee representative development, performance management, and priority-account assignments.
• Develop and implement strategic and business plans for the area, with responsibility for area budgets.
• Plan, organize, and monitor performance at both area and RBU levels.
• Optimize the utilization of promotional materials and contribute to annual marketing plans.
• Conduct proactive data analysis to identify market trends.
• Identify and motivate key-account development opportunities that impact regional and national business.
• Build relationships with customers, KOLs, management teams, channel partners, and cross-functional collaborators.
• Develop external advocates and contribute to advocacy and community engagement initiatives.
• Coach representatives on cross-functional customer engagement and the effective use of AI and digital tools.
• Conduct plan-of-action meetings and other cross-functional sessions.
• Collaborate within integrated account teams and work alongside Marketing during the Operating Plan process.
• Lead partnerships to guarantee the delivery of patient services.
• Maintain advanced knowledge of products, portfolios, disease states, and market dynamics.
• Utilize digital and virtual tools, leveraging analytics such as 360-degree customer insights.
• Employ systematic virtual engagement and flexible time management across extensive geographies.
• Coach and counsel team members on selling skills, product knowledge, capabilities, and business plans.
• Uphold area standards, compliance policies, and commitments to integrity.
• Apply situational leadership and interactive coaching techniques across various engagement types.
• Foster a team culture, enhance engagement, and boost morale.
• Promote a culture of feedback and continuous improvement.
• Set team objectives and hold team members accountable for surpassing them.
• A Bachelor's Degree is required.
• A minimum of 6 years of experience in pharmaceutical, biotech, or medical marketing/sales.
• Preferred experience working with key thought leaders or high-influence customers in large group practices, hospitals, or managed care organizations.
• Proficient in data-driven resource management to ensure effective channel deployment.
• Must reside within a commutable distance to the designated territory.
• Willingness to travel as necessary to foster internal and external relationships.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to think and communicate with the audience's needs as a priority.
• A valid US driver's license and a driving record that complies with company standards.
• Any DUI/DWI or other impaired driving citations within the past 7 years will disqualify candidates from being hired.

• A breadth of diverse leadership experiences, including influencing and collaborating with peers, coaching and developing others, and overseeing colleagues’ work.
• Experience as an Oncology Sales Enablement Manager, Area Business Manager, and specific experience in Breast Cancer Therapeutics is strongly preferred.
• At least 2 years of experience in Commercial Oncology.
• An MBA or relevant graduate degree is preferred.
• Advanced communication skills for facilitation, customer engagement, team management, and remote collaboration and coaching.
• Demonstrated ability to think strategically and execute effectively to deliver results.
• A strong track record in collaborative and motivational leadership and managing internal stakeholders.
• Experience working with External Partners.
