
Area Business Manager – Gastroenterology

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Idaho, +1 more state.
• Engage with Gastroenterology clients within the designated geographical region and convey clinically relevant messages regarding the EoE indication.
• Introduce and roll out products, enhance brand share and revenue, and achieve product objectives.
• Collaborate with Regeneron Medical Specialists, Medical Science Liaisons, Field Reimbursement and Market Access colleagues, Thought Leader Liaisons, and other field-based stakeholders.
• Address customer needs, identify market trends and dynamics, and formulate strategies that align with brand and corporate goals.
• Cultivate relationships with gastroenterology specialists, biologic coordinators, office personnel, healthcare providers, and patient advocacy organizations.
• Recognize key opportunities and create strategic business plans to boost product usage and expand territory business.
• Plan, coordinate, and implement local promotional speaker events and activities.
• Optimize the geographic territory budget to execute strategies and enhance business growth.
• Participate in industry congresses, regional and local meetings, and medical conferences.
• Collaborate with and engage private equity firms and large group practices, along with other key targets.
• Build relationships with thought leaders and drive exceptional customer value in the industry.
• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited four-year institution.
• A minimum of 2 years of experience in pharmaceutical, biotech, or medical device sales.
• Capacity to learn and apply technical and scientific information related to products.
• Willingness to travel for meetings, training sessions, and programs as required.
• Additional travel within the designated territory, approximately 60 to 75 percent of travel time covering Eastern Washington, Idaho, and Montana.
• Proven success and a positive track record of consistent sales performance in complex markets with varied customer segments.
• High level of integrity and adherence to guidelines.
• Ability to work collaboratively with team members and internal colleagues.
• Valid Driver’s License.
• Completion of all fleet safety training.
• Acceptable driving record regarding accidents and incidents.
• Preferred: Over 2 years of experience selling subcutaneous self-injectable or office-administered IV biologics.
• Preferred: Over 2 years of experience in selling within gastroenterology or immunology disorders.
• Advanced skills in clinically-based selling.
• Proven track record of success with product launches.
• Strong understanding of the reimbursement landscape and Managed Markets pull-through.
• Experience launching products in specialty care and biologics.
• Familiarity with alliance/matrix partnership dynamics.
• Experience in training office staff, nurses, biologic coordinators, and office managers.
• Passion and aptitude for learning about science.
• Knowledge of disease states, treatment options, and healthcare trends.
• Strong organizational and account management abilities.
