Area Business Director

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New Jersey.

📋 Description

• Achieve or surpass sales targets within the designated NJ/PA territory.

• Provide mentorship and coaching to local sales representatives as well as colleagues across North America.

• Attract and recruit exceptional talent for the assigned territory and for Alma Lasers.

• Generate leads through cold calling while addressing customer inquiries regarding features, pricing, and services.

• Represent Alma Lasers at industry conventions and events.

• Guide customers through the sales cycle and create and finalize sales opportunities.

• Manage various time-sensitive processes within a dynamic work environment.

• Address customer objections and turn them into sales.

• Conduct product demonstrations of Alma Lasers’ offerings.

• Utilize reference sites, clinical specialists, and partner personnel to meet sales goals.

• Cross-sell products and collaborate with sales representatives to reach individual and group targets.

• Ensure that customer care and financial standards align with Alma Lasers’ expectations.

• Provide weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual reports on lead status and pipeline sales opportunities through Salesforce CRM to the Regional Sales Director.

• Build and sustain relationships with key healthcare providers, including dermatologists, plastic surgeons, urologists, OB/GYNs, and private practice physicians.

• Support Territory Sales Managers in closing deals and offer continuous mentorship and assistance.

• Attain a seven-figure sales quota through effective sales strategies and successful deal closure.


⛳️ Requirements

• Demonstrated history of meeting or exceeding sales quotas.

• A minimum of 2 years of sales experience, preferably in Medical or Capital Sales.

• Experience with medical devices, capital equipment, surgical devices, or laser sales is an advantage.

• High School diploma required; a Bachelor’s degree is preferred or equivalent experience.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Applications (MS Office, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook).

• Experience with Salesforce is preferred.

• Excellent organizational abilities.

• Capability to multitask effectively.

• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.

• A positive attitude and approach towards job responsibilities and the Alma team.

• Initiative and problem-solving skills.

• Technical aptitude.

• Strong communication proficiency.

• Ability to retain substantial amounts of information.

• Documentation confirming eligibility to work in the United States is required.

• Capability to frequently lift/move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift/move up to 80 pounds.

• Willingness to travel 60% as necessary.
