Architectural Representative

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New York.

📋 Description

• Deliver technical assistance to the architectural and engineering sectors.

• Support Sales by providing detailed technical information specific to products.

• Ensure H&B products are included in specifications through direct marketing efforts with architectural and engineering firms.

• Utilize Dodge and BSD Speclive for researching project opportunities.

• Follow up on project leads generated by others.

• Assist contractors in submitting substitution requests when needed.

• Review project specifications and architectural drawings.

• Offer educational programs to firms, associations, and conferences, as approved by the department Director.

• Represent H&B at architecture-focused trade shows.

• Participate in regional or chapter meetings of professional organizations, such as CSI and AIA.

• Report industry insights to aid product development.

• Conduct site visits to confirm product installations, provide guidance, or consult with the Project Architect.

• Execute additional tasks and projects as assigned by management.

⛳️ Requirements

• 3-5 years of relevant industry experience.

• A college degree in Construction Management is preferred.

• Certification as a Construction Document Technologist by the Construction Specifications Institute or a similar organization is preferred.

• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

• Capability to present to large audiences.

• Willingness to travel to project locations and trade shows.

• Possession of a valid passport and driver’s license.

• Ability to travel up to 50% of the time.
