Architect

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Mexico.

📋 Description

• Collaborate with Product Managers, Business Analysts, and stakeholders to define outcomes and shape the product vision.

• Convert requirements into practical architectural solutions.

• Create architecture blueprints, both high-level and low-level designs, technical decision records, and implementation guidance.

• Develop secure, scalable, and reusable services, APIs, data storage patterns, integration strategies, user experience-facing capabilities, and shared components.

• Collaborate with engineering teams on implementation through prototyping, code reviews, pair design, design assurance, and managing technical debt.

• Choose technologies, encourage reuse, establish development standards, and assist in creating common frameworks or accelerators.

• Engage in planning and estimation, manage the architecture backlog, and balance cost, risk, quality, security, and time-to-market considerations.

• Coordinate with architects, security, platform, and engineering teams to ensure designs align with enterprise standards and delivery constraints.

• Responsibly apply AI-assisted and agentic engineering practices to enhance delivery, quality, documentation, testing, and developer productivity.

• Contribute to the client's global foundational technology platform for creating, operating, and scaling technology solutions.

⛳️ Requirements

• Extensive architectural experience in cloud-native applications, integration, data, and security domains.

• Proficient in software engineering with at least one modern programming language such as C#, Java, JavaScript/TypeScript, or Python.

• Confidence in reading and reviewing production code.

• Hands-on experience with agentic AI coding tools and AI-assisted delivery workflows, including GitHub Copilot, Cursor, Windsurf, Claude Code, or OpenAI Codex-style agents.

• Solid practical experience with Azure, covering compute, storage, networking, security, Azure Policy, Entra ID, RBAC, Key Vault, and tenant-aware identity patterns.

• Familiarity with APIs, microservices, containers, and Kubernetes, preferably AKS.

• Knowledge of CI/CD and DevSecOps methodologies using Azure DevOps and/or GitHub.

• Ability to design access management, authentication, and authorization patterns.

• Understanding of compliance, in-application security, secure-by-design practices, and enterprise technology standards.

• Experience in designing for reusability, maintainability, observability, cost-effectiveness, and managing technical debt.

• Excellent communication skills with senior stakeholders, product teams, engineers, and architects across distributed teams.

• Demonstrated resilience, emotional intelligence, and a focus on agile delivery.

• Profound understanding of the distinction between coding and engineering.

• Proficient in oral English.

• Proficient in Spanish.
