AR Specialist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Philippines.

📋 Description

• Generate and distribute invoices to clients for the goods and services provided.

• Accept and log customer payments via checks, credit cards, and electronic funds transfers.

• Allocate payments to customer accounts accurately and ensure proper distribution.

• Assess customer creditworthiness and set appropriate credit limits.

• Track overdue accounts and engage with customers through phone, email, or other communication methods.

• Reconcile incoming payments with outstanding invoices and address any discrepancies.

• Analyze accounts receivable aging reports thoroughly.

• Foster and sustain positive relationships with customers by addressing inquiries and resolving payment concerns.

• Work collaboratively with the sales team to troubleshoot payment-related issues and guarantee timely revenue recognition.

• Formulate and implement collection strategies aimed at reducing overdue accounts and minimizing bad debt.

• Execute ad hoc tasks that align with the role.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related discipline.

• 1-3 years of experience in Accounts Receivable and/or General Accounting, or equivalent background.

• Excellent verbal, written, and English communication skills.

• Willingness to work overnight/graveyard shifts in Philippine time or within US business hours.

• Proficient in most Microsoft Office applications, databases, and accounting software.

• Strong expertise in Excel, including pivot tables, advanced formulas, and more.

• Familiarity with accounting software and tools like QuickBooks, SAP, or other relevant applications.

• Capability to cultivate relationships with clients and internal teams.

• Exceptional accuracy in financial records and meticulous attention to detail in all job aspects.

• CPA or CMA certifications are a plus but not mandatory.
