Accounts Receivable Clerk

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Illinois.

📋 Description

• Assist in the processing and distribution of incoming mail within the department.

• Assess non-purchase order invoices for proper GL coding, necessary approvals, and adherence to policies.

• Enter non-purchase order invoices into Oracle for validation and payment processing.

• Input purchase order invoices into Oracle and complete the online matching procedure.

• Reconcile batch totals with system-entered totals.

• Resolve invoice holds by collaborating with plant personnel and supply management.

• Provide assistance to vendors and Division personnel regarding invoice inquiries and investigate and resolve vendor payment disputes or issues.

• Aid in the management and distribution of the weekly check process.

• Perform additional related tasks as assigned by the Accounts Payable Supervisor and Manager.

• Report directly to the Accounts Receivable Supervisor.

• This is a progression position with levels determined by candidate experience and business requirements.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 1 year of experience is required.

• High School Diploma or equivalent is necessary.

• Specialized training and/or relevant experience in accounts payable operations.

• Proficient in Excel.

• Ability to take initiative.

• High level of accuracy and attention to detail.

• Understanding of company practices and policies.

• Capability to work independently.
