This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Utilize the loan origination system along with vendor systems for the assignment of appraisal orders.

• Address fundamental inquiries from appraisers and identify any issues as necessary.

• Communicate proactively and efficiently with appraisers and AMCs to ensure that inspection appointments, appraisal completions, and revisions are completed within required deadlines.

• Establish and maintain strong working relationships with appraisers and AMCs by delivering responsive, professional, and customer-oriented service.

• Request and oversee quotes for complex appraisal assignments.

• Respond to requests from the loan team promptly and assist in advancing the appraisal process.

• Review appraisal reports to ensure accurate fulfillment of requirements.

• Adhere to general industry standards and Agency appraisal and valuation requirements.

• Collaborate effectively with the Compliance team and other departments to facilitate a smooth and efficient loan process.

⛳️ Requirements

• Prior experience as an Appraisal Coordinator or in an Appraisal Desk role within a mortgage lender or AMC setting.

• Familiarity with mortgage lending processes and terminology.

• Strong customer service capabilities with the ability to foster and maintain positive working relationships with appraisers, AMCs, loan teams, and internal partners.

• Ability to communicate clearly, professionally, and efficiently with employees and external business partners at all levels.

• Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills.

• Clear and concise written and verbal communication abilities.

• A strong team player who collaborates effectively with others and contributes positively to the team environment.

• Experience with Encompass or other mortgage loan origination systems is preferred.
