This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Colorado.
• Spearhead the development and implementation of research, analytics, and reporting that drive Evio Insights, a real-world evidence product within Evio’s Digital Health portfolio.
• Manage the analytic lifecycle, transforming vague health plan challenges into research inquiries, encompassing study or modeling selection, analysis execution, and actionable recommendations.
• Create reusable analytical frameworks, study templates, and automated processes.
• Investigate data to uncover signals, trends, utilization patterns, and anomalies.
• Utilize machine learning and advanced analytics, such as predictive modeling, natural language processing, graph neural networks, and unsupervised clustering.
• Assess new data sources, analytical techniques, forecasting methods, and patient segmentation strategies.
• Design and carry out real-world evidence projects, observational studies, comparative effectiveness studies, and predictive modeling related to cost and clinical outcomes.
• Collaborate with pharmacists, researchers, data scientists, analysts, engineers, product managers, and client-facing personnel.
• Formulate analytical plans, outcome definitions, and validation strategies.
• Convert findings into presentations, slide decks, manuscripts, and communications intended for clients.
• Conduct feasibility assessments and exploratory analyses.
• Create reporting and data visualizations that highlight recommendation impacts and potential cost savings.
• Employ quasi-experimental program evaluation techniques, including matched comparisons, difference-in-differences, and interrupted time-series analyses.
• Identify emerging trends in medication utilization and costs while aiding in research prioritization and strategic decision-making.
• A minimum of 5 years of experience in healthcare analytics, real-world evidence, health economics and outcomes research, data science, or a related discipline.
• At least 5 years of experience with machine learning and advanced analytical methodologies, including predictive modeling, forecasting, and unsupervised learning/segmentation.
• Experience in working with administrative claims data.
• Strong expertise in SQL and familiarity with Python or R.
• Proficiency in designing statistical comparisons, analytical plans, and decision-grade analyses for diverse use cases.
• Competence in descriptive analytics, outcomes-based analytics, and predictive analytics.
• Experience in developing automated, reusable, or production-ready analytical workflows and reporting solutions.
• Ability to convey technical information effectively to executives, analysts, actuaries, and clinicians through both written and verbal communication.
• Exceptional problem-solving skills, with an aptitude for independently exploring data, identifying insights, and providing actionable recommendations.
• Preferred: Experience with healthcare data beyond administrative claims, familiarity with commercially available real-world data analytics platforms, application of AI in real-world data analysis or workflow automation, and knowledge of high-cost or specialty medications.
