Applied Economics & Finance Benchmark Specialist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Generate and evaluate high-quality academic assessment materials for an AI research project.

• Develop original and challenging multiple-choice questions within the fields of economics and finance.

• Ensure that questions are clear, self-sufficient, and well-defined.

• Assess question difficulty levels as Medium, Hard, or Expert.

• Provide one accurate answer along with nine plausible but subtly incorrect alternatives.

• Compose detailed solutions in markdown format.

• Include 1–5 academic references for each question from credible sources.

• Examine pre-existing questions for accuracy, clarity, rigor, completeness, precision, and solvability.

• Revise questions as necessary and document any modifications made.

• Participate in projects aimed at training and improving AI systems.

⛳️ Requirements

• PhD or doctoral candidate in Economics, Finance, or a closely associated discipline.

• A Master's degree may be considered for candidates with exceptional expertise in a specific subdomain.

• Strong understanding of graduate-level economic theory, quantitative techniques, and financial modeling.

• Background in academic research, CFA/CPA certification, or experience in the financial sector is highly advantageous.

• Exceptional written English skills with the ability to convey complex concepts clearly and succinctly.

• Expected commitment of 10+ hours per week.

• Independent contractor position.
