This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.
• Take full ownership of end-to-end enterprise deals for Cloudera-supported OEM Mistral, overseeing everything from initial discussions to proof of concept, negotiation, closing, and expansion.
• Create and manage a sales pipeline, accurately forecast, and surpass quarterly and annual targets for new and expansion software subscriptions, renewals, and related services.
• Introduce and expand designated enterprise accounts and strategic prospects in alignment with company objectives and customer priorities in data, analytics, and AI.
• Lead significant, multi-threaded transactions while maintaining commercial oversight and coordinating with specialists.
• Execute strategic outbound initiatives and convert qualified inbound leads into extensive, multi-year agreements.
• Utilize warm introductions, established relationships, and partner networks to connect with leaders in data, AI, innovation, and the C-suite.
• Develop account and opportunity plans that align the Mistral offering with customer technology infrastructures, growth strategies, and competitive landscapes.
• Guide customers through structured, time-limited proofs of concept alongside implementation and technical teams.
• Transform successful proofs of concept into long-term contracts by linking model performance, deployment strategies, governance, and support to customer operations on Cloudera.
• Clearly communicate how the OEM Mistral offering integrates with the Cloudera platform, including data management, security, and hybrid operations.
• Coordinate with customer engineering, product, commercial, and legal stakeholders at the executive level.
• Negotiate agreements from start to finish with legal and implementation support.
• Foster consensus among executive sponsors, influencers, and decision-makers, positioning the offering within strategic AI and data initiatives.
• Provide field intelligence on use cases, objections, competitive actions, and deployment challenges to shape roadmap priorities and sales strategies.
• Introduce domain and technical specialists while maintaining overall accountability for the account and customer success.
• Over 8 years of experience in enterprise software sales.
• Proven track record of exceeding quotas on complex, consultative sales deals.
• Comfortable engaging with senior C-level executives, discussions, and negotiations.
• Experience in selling highly technical products, preferably in data management, data platforms, analytics, or AI infrastructure.
• Knowledge of public cloud, hybrid architectures, and modern infrastructure such as containers and Kubernetes, sufficient to guide technical discussions and determine when to involve specialists.
• Significant exposure to the AI ecosystem or related data and infrastructure markets.
• Ability to operate at the pace of a startup while navigating processes within large enterprises.
• Excellent negotiation skills, written communication abilities, and executive presence.
• Proficiency in English is required.
• Additional languages such as French, German, or Spanish are beneficial for multinational accounts.
• Comfortable functioning as the commercial leader within a matrix of account executives, partner sales teams, implementation specialists, solution engineers, product, and legal teams.
