Applications Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.

📋 Description

• Collaborate with sales teams and clients to create robotic solutions for innovative applications

• Act as a reliable technical advisor throughout the sales process

• Manage installations from start to finish by visiting customer locations

• Install, program, and validate Standard Bots solutions in the field

• Develop technical training materials such as sample code, application notes, and white papers

• Work closely with internal engineering teams to test and enhance new features and integrations

• Create marketing materials that convey the benefits of Standard Bots solutions

⛳️ Requirements

• Experienced and adept problem-solver with customer-facing skills

• Practical experience with electrical, software, and mechanical systems

• Familiarity with DC power systems

• Knowledge of NPN and PNP transistor types

• Proficient in writing Python scripts

• Ability to utilize CAD software such as SolidWorks

• Hands-on experience in automotive, manufacturing, or industrial automation settings

• Experience working in production or assembly environments

• Understanding of cycle times, uptime requirements, safety regulations, and integration with existing machinery

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills for both technical and non-technical audiences

• Willingness to travel up to 50% within the U.S.

• Must not require visa sponsorship to work in the United States
