This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Florida, +3 more states.
• Assess customer needs and create customized energy infrastructure solutions that encompass batteries, BMS, inverters, transformers, protection systems, EMS, and SCADA.
• Deliver technical solutions and market insights within the utility-scale, C&I, telecommunications, and utility sectors.
• Clearly communicate the advantages of Eos’s energy storage for peak shifting/shaving, long-duration dispatch, ancillary services, microgrids, and renewable firming/smoothing.
• Collaborate with Sales and internal technical teams to craft technical responses to RFQs and RFPs.
• Facilitate a seamless transition of customer orders to project management.
• Gather customer feedback on product performance, quality, documentation, and overall satisfaction, and share insights with internal technical teams.
• Aid in converting the pipeline into revenue by cultivating technical advocates at key accounts.
• Employ processes, tools, and best practices to enhance the technical pre-sales organization.
• Stay updated on industry trends, emerging technologies, and competitive advancements in energy storage.
• Provide regional and global market insights while maintaining competitive intelligence.
• Assist in the creation of product manuals and data sheets.
• Develop layouts and coordinate quotes and technical supplements from third-party vendors.
• Position Eos product and system designs competitively to increase the likelihood of success.
• A bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering is mandatory.
• A minimum of 5 years of experience in energy storage or related electrical infrastructure is required.
• Full storage system design, implementation, construction, and commissioning experience is preferred.
• Technical expertise in the energy infrastructure sector is essential.
• An electrical engineering background with a strong grasp of battery technologies and technical/commercial differentiators is crucial.
• Familiarity with DraftSight is highly preferred.
• A robust understanding of distributed and utility-scale energy infrastructure markets, relevant customers, and technology providers is necessary.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and analytical abilities are required.
• Strong time management skills and the capability to meet deadlines are essential.
• Ability to conduct technical evaluations in energy infrastructure applications is important.
• A strong compliance culture, enthusiasm for technical aspects, and self-motivation are key attributes.
• Fluency in English, both written and spoken, is required.
• Willingness and capability to travel locally and overnight within North America, ranging from 10% to 25%, is expected.
• Safe, scalable, efficient, and sustainable energy storage solutions.
• Opportunities for local travel and overnight travel across North America.
• Exposure to diverse environments including office, factory, laboratory, construction, customer, and partner settings.
• Provision of safety equipment such as eye safety glasses, hearing protectors, work boots, and lab coats.
