This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Utah.
• Manage the daily operations of specific clinical, administrative, or financial applications.
• Analyze, configure, test, support, release, train users on, and implement application technologies.
• Implement best-practice standards that align with Information Systems (IS) and business strategies.
• Oversee department operations for clinical, administrative, or financial systems.
• Administer budgets and manage financial assets.
• Supervise human-resource management and staff training initiatives.
• Provide technical leadership and guidance to employees.
• Handle hiring, goal setting, coaching, mentoring, recognition, training, and performance management.
• Cultivate relationships with customers, stakeholders, and vendors.
• Communicate effectively with staff and allocate resources to ensure timely, budget-compliant project delivery.
• Coordinate technical interdependencies, schedules, and business requirements with project teams and stakeholders.
• Ensure staff competency through application-specific training.
• Maintain adherence to support and service management best practices.
• Develop, manage, and evaluate operating and service-level agreements.
• Define, manage, and monitor application metrics including incidents, requests, resolution time, and customer satisfaction.
• Collaborate across IS teams to develop and test solutions, resolve incidents, identify root causes, and enhance processes.
• Oversee technical support documentation and facilitate training for staff.
• Bachelor's degree in healthcare or computer technology from an accredited institution, or four years of relevant experience in a healthcare or computer technology field.
• Six years of experience in configuring, supporting, training, and implementing clinical, financial, or administrative systems utilized in healthcare.
• Proven leadership and communication skills.
• Strong analytical, problem-resolution, judgment, and decision-making skills.
• Ability to prioritize and execute tasks effectively in a high-pressure environment.
• Experience in a team-oriented, collaborative setting.
• Background in a healthcare environment.
• Preferred: two years of management experience.
• Preferred: three years of experience in supporting healthcare applications.
• Preferred: self-motivated, detail-oriented, results-driven, and possessing a strong customer service orientation.
• Ability to communicate information effectively with others.
• Proficient in operating computers and other IT equipment.
• Capability to see and read computer monitors and documents.
• Ability to remain seated or standing for extended periods while working.
