Application Security Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.

📋 Description

• Assist security professionals and developers throughout the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), which includes requirements analysis, design, implementation, testing, integration, verification, and maintenance of DevSecOps environments.

• Integrate security measures into Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) and DevOps pipelines.

• Conduct offensive and defensive operations on AI models, inference endpoints, and Managed Cloud Platform (MCP) servers.

• Develop engaging hands-on lessons and educational content.

• Create tools that facilitate quicker and easier release of new content.

• Ensure that existing courses, lessons, and challenges are regularly updated.

• Proactively seek opportunities to scale, streamline, and enhance business processes.

• Guarantee that final deliverables align with organizational quality standards.

• Provide support to professionals by addressing their inquiries in support forums.

• Investigate cutting-edge technologies to design lab scenarios.

• Build lab infrastructure that allows learners to concentrate on specific skills.

• Actively assist learners with their questions.

• Undertake additional responsibilities as assigned.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 5 years of experience in application security or product security roles.

• Eagerness to work with innovative product security technologies such as DevSecOps, AI, Cloud Native Technologies, and Zero Trust networks.

• Strong understanding of application security principles and tools.

• Commitment to enhancing the landscape of Application Security (AppSec) and DevSecOps.

• Proficiency in scripting languages such as Bash, Python, and Go.

• Capability to compose detailed technical documentation and develop presentations.

• Flexibility to thrive in a fast-paced startup environment and willingness to accept additional responsibilities.

• Ability to work autonomously with minimal supervision in a remote team environment.

• Exceptional oral and written communication skills.
