This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Collaborate with the energy efficiency team to ensure the successful evaluation, implementation, and verification of utility-sponsored energy efficiency projects.
• Assess project applications and submissions from program partners, contractors, and other stakeholders for adherence to program policies and guidelines.
• Conduct basic data cleaning, analysis, and interpretation.
• Execute desktop reviews and quality assessments of internal, external, and client-related materials.
• Review technical specifications, work orders, completion certificates, and invoices associated with energy efficiency projects.
• Enter records into the program database.
• Process applications and documentation for program incentive payments in accordance with established policies and procedures.
• Utilize in-depth knowledge of organizational procedures to make independent decisions and act as a resource for senior management.
• Assess and validate application eligibility.
• Identify and escalate residential projects that necessitate additional health and safety reviews.
• An associate's degree or higher is required.
• A minimum of 1 year of professional work experience, or one year of related education may replace one year of work experience.
• Must successfully pass a background check.
• Demonstrated flexibility and reliability, coupled with a strong work ethic.
• Capability to prioritize tasks and deliver high-quality outcomes.
• Ability to work independently, show initiative, and collaborate effectively as part of a team.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Strong problem-solving skills, including the capacity to analyze situations, identify issues, recommend solutions, and appropriately escalate application challenges.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, Excel).
• Preferred knowledge of or experience in residential energy efficiency, weatherization, HVAC, residential construction, or related fields.
• Experience in analyzing and reporting trends is preferred.
