Application Consultant

📋 Description

• Collaborate with team members and leadership to proactively deliver an exceptional technology solution for clients.

• Assist both existing and new clients by guiding them through processes, resolving issues, and ensuring effective product use.

• Educate users on system setup, administration, and ongoing maintenance.

• Conduct business analysis through gap analysis, root cause analysis, reviews of business processes and documentation, and gathering requirements.

• Comprehend client business processes and tailor applications to meet business demands and industry best practices.

• Oversee user acceptance testing and change management procedures.

• Develop user manuals and finalize handover documentation for support teams.

• Enhance client capabilities and identify chances to propose additional products and services.

• Assist Project Managers with engagement contracts, escalate bottlenecks, and provide updates on project progress.

• Deliver services efficiently while achieving project milestones and resource utilization objectives.

• Offer subject matter expertise to R&D and operational teams by understanding client requirements, market dynamics, and business practices.

⛳️ Requirements

• Knowledge of the utility customer (meter to cash) life cycle.

• Familiarity with utility Customer Information System (CIS) processes and functionalities.

• Strong influencing, coaching, and written and verbal communication abilities across all organizational levels.

• Experience collaborating with both business and IT teams.

• Willingness to travel up to 25% within North America.

• Preferably experienced in providing software implementation within the utility sector.

• Possess an entrepreneurial spirit and a readiness to engage at all levels of the client organization.

• A degree in Computer Science, Business Technology Management, or Management Information Systems is advantageous.

• Knowledge of SQL and experience with system configuration is beneficial.

• Must hold a current, valid passport.

• Legally eligible for international travel, including passport-based visa exemptions or necessary travel visas for entry into Canada, the United States, and the Caribbean.

• Openness to adopt and utilize AI-enabled technologies, such as copilots, chat-based AI assistants, and automation tools, while ensuring adherence to appropriate judgment, security, and compliance standards.
