This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil, +2 more countries.
β’ Identify, engage, and finalize commercial agreements with APM providers throughout Latin America, including wallets, local bank transfers, cash networks, real-time payment options, Pix, QR codes, bank transfers, and cards.
β’ Utilize established relationships with key stakeholders in the LATAM APM ecosystem to expedite the integration process.
β’ Oversee the entire partnership lifecycle.
β’ Serve as the primary liaison between APM partners and PayRetailers' internal Product and Engineering teams.
β’ Regularly assess the APM portfolio, pinpointing gaps, phasing out underperforming methods, and prioritizing new integrations based on merchant demand and market dynamics.
β’ Keep an eye on the LATAM APM landscape, including new entrants, regulatory updates, volume trends, and competitor APM offerings.
β’ Offer strategic insights on APM prioritization by geography, vertical, and merchant segment.
β’ Manage the APM network in Brazil and Argentina.
β’ Experience in a Partnerships, Business Development, or Product Partnerships role within the payments sector.
β’ Candidates with backgrounds as banking relationship managers may also be suitable.
β’ Direct experience in establishing commercial partnerships with payment providers, banks, wallets, acquirers, PSPs, or other local payment-method providers in LATAM.
β’ Proven success in negotiating and securing APM partnership agreements, rather than merely managing existing ones.
β’ Experience in coordinating APM integrations with technical teams, including a solid understanding of APIs, payment flows, reconciliation, and settlement.
β’ Extensive knowledge of the LATAM payment landscape, encompassing local rails, regulatory frameworks, wallets, QR codes, bank transfers, and real-time payment schemes by country.
β’ Comfortable functioning in a hybrid commercial-product role, with an emphasis on relationship and commercial skills.
β’ Highly autonomous and self-motivated; this is an individual contributor role without direct reports.
β’ Exceptional organizational abilities.
β’ Native or fluent in English and Spanish.
β’ Intermediate proficiency in Portuguese, both written and spoken, is a significant advantage.
β’ Based in Brazil, Colombia, or Argentina.
