This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New York.
β’ Oversee the onboarding of vendors, upkeep of vendor master records, and banking documentation to guarantee data precision, adherence to regulations, and fraud prevention measures.
β’ Maintain supplier documentation, including W-9/W-8 forms, payment instructions, contact details, and payment terms.
β’ Assist in payment operations through the preparation of payments, investigation of payment exceptions, handling stop-payment requests, coordinating payment reissuances, and managing supplier inquiries.
β’ Conduct vendor master governance tasks such as data quality assessments, audit assistance, compliance reporting, and maintenance of vendor files.
β’ Produce 1099 reports, track daily import/error logs, and preserve month-end documentation to support financial closure and auditing necessities.
β’ Employ Oracle, JDE, and related systems to facilitate reconciliations, reporting, research inquiries, and operational questions.
β’ Engage in structured cross-training initiatives to provide backup support across Treasury and payment operations roles.
β’ Aid in daily cash positioning, cash reconciliations, treasury reporting, and liquidity monitoring tasks.
β’ Contribute to enhancements in payment processes, automation efforts, and collaborative Treasury and Accounts Payable projects.
β’ Uphold internal controls and segregation of duties requirements; execute transactions and manage vendor records without independent authority for payment approval or release.
β’ Familiarity with accounts payable functions, payment processing, vendor management, basic treasury operations, and internal controls.
β’ Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication abilities with a keen eye for detail.
β’ Proficient in Oracle, JDE, Bank of America CashPro, and Microsoft Excel.
β’ Capability to handle multiple priorities, ensure data integrity, and assist Treasury and Accounts Payable operations within a regulated environment.
β’ Minimum of 5 years of experience in Accounts Payable.
β’ High School diploma required.
