Anemia Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Colorado.

📋 Description

• Take ownership of clinical lab results to ensure quality care for ESKD patients.

• Oversee anemia and iron protocols at local dialysis centers.

• Collaborate directly with Medical Directors, Nephrologists, and clinic staff to deliver professional nursing care.

• Train, coach, and mentor new Nurses on protocols related to anemia management.

• Execute new clinical protocols that have been approved by the Governing body and prescribed by physicians.

• Analyze laboratory parameters and results to assess the effectiveness of protocols.

• Review lab results for new patient admissions and initiate anemia and iron management protocols as directed by physicians.

• Evaluate Hb/Ferritin/T-Sat results and modify ESA and iron dosages in accordance with established protocols.

• Support dialysis clinic staff in achieving quality outcomes.

⛳️ Requirements

• 2 to 4 years of experience in Nursing.

• An Associate Degree in Nursing (A.D.N) from an accredited nursing school is required.

• A Bachelor of Science in Nursing (B.S.N) or a three-year diploma from an accredited program may be accepted in place of a nursing degree.

• Must possess a current and valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state where practicing.

• Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, Outlook, and DaVita-specific applications is necessary.

• Strong communication skills to effectively interact with medical professionals and drive clinical outcomes.

• Willingness to travel overnight may be necessary.

• Preferred: Registered Nurse with at least 12 months of specialized renal experience.

• Preferred: Certification as a Nephrology Nurse (CNN), Certified Dialysis Nurse (CDN), and/or Certified Hemodialysis Nurse (CHN).
