Anaplan Product Owner, Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Virginia.

📋 Description

• Propel the strategic direction of the Anaplan ecosystem at Markel.

• Formulate Markel’s long-term strategy for Anaplan.

• Establish and prioritize the Anaplan backlog while identifying optimization opportunities.

• Provide efficient and effective Anaplan-centric solutions that align with business objectives.

• Assume managerial responsibilities for the Anaplan Center of Excellence team.

• Set goals for staff, offer development opportunities, and manage resource capacity planning.

• Organize and oversee COE activities while managing competing priorities.

• Recruit personnel and assess staffing requirements.

• Collaborate with business leaders and communicate information to stakeholders.

• Convert business needs into usability requirements for solution development and model enhancements.

• Maintain and prioritize the enhancement backlog effectively.

• Sustain and improve upstream and downstream integrations and ensure data integrity.

• Supervise production support and daily Anaplan operations.

• Enhance the security framework continually.

• Identify risks and remove obstacles within the Anaplan ecosystem.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proficient technical knowledge of Anaplan and experience in model building.

• Excellent leadership, communication, and critical thinking abilities.

• Capability to manage and develop a team while balancing competing priorities.

• US Work Authorization is mandatory.

• Preferred experience in application administration.

• Preferred background in financial planning and budgeting.
