Analytics Engineer III – Finance

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Collaborate within the Finance Data ecosystem, acting as the primary contact for GBBS and Treasury initiatives.

• Enhance data-driven insights across operational and cash management processes, encompassing accounts payable, accounts receivable, and tax receivables.

• Design and implement data pipelines and workflows directly in the BigQuery environment.

• Create comprehensive Business Intelligence solutions and data products to aid in financial decision-making.

• Engage in cross-functional work that extends beyond conventional BI practices.

• Foster strong relationships with GBBS and Treasury teams, promoting data comprehension.

• Critically assess the outputs of models and Artificial Intelligence solutions applied to products in the ecosystem.

• Manage routines and direct queries to optimize BigQuery performance.

• Collaborate with Product Managers and Engineering to prioritize and structure the backlog.

• Map financial data sources to ensure data integrity, consistency, and governance.

• Recognize opportunities for optimizing and automating financial processes.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proficient in SQL for advanced queries, stored procedures, and data modeling.

• Experience with BigQuery for managing and orchestrating analytical processes.

• Strong background in developing data visualizations and constructing end-to-end data products.

• Demonstrated ability to work independently and tackle complex technical challenges.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, employing a consultative approach to influence cross-functionally and provide effective technical education to stakeholders.

• High adaptability to evolving environments, emerging technologies, and multidisciplinary requirements.

• Practical knowledge or domain experience in corporate finance (accounts payable/receivable, tax receivables, or Treasury) is a plus.

• Experience with Python in data science, machine learning, or AI agents is an advantage.

• Critical viewpoint on the application and validation of Artificial Intelligence tools within the analytics engineering workflow is a plus.
