This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Develop and enhance data products, ensuring quality, performance, and compliance with architectural best practices.

• Work collaboratively with internal stakeholders to clarify requirements, gather business rules, and synchronize expectations across teams.

• Assist in defining deadlines, priorities, and project scopes.

• Convert business challenges into effective technical solutions that prioritize value and impact.

• Engage in backlog refinement and prioritization utilizing agile methodologies in Jira.

• Maintain quality standards through testing, documentation, alerts, monitoring, and communication of changes.

• Generate and update documentation for both new and existing data products.

• Foster a data-driven culture and contribute to the advancement of the data platform.

• Ensure that deliverables enhance the company's strategic objectives.

• Aid in team development and promote knowledge sharing among peers.

• Support Loft’s mission to build a real estate ecosystem in Latin America through data, AI, and machine learning.


⛳️ Requirements

• In-depth knowledge of SQL and data modeling (conceptual, logical, physical, and dimensional).

• Proficiency in Python and dbt for modeling, validations, testing, automation, data manipulation, and scripting.

• Experience in orchestrating pipelines and jobs using Airflow and/or GitHub Actions.

• Understanding of CI/CD practices related to data engineering and analytics.

• Familiarity with code versioning through GitHub.

• Experience working with cloud environments, including GCP (Google Cloud Platform) and BigQuery.

• Proficiency in data visualization tools.

• Preferred: experience in Data Engineering and data ingestion/pipeline development.

• Preferred: experience with AI and automation.

• Preferred: knowledge of modern data architectures such as Modern Data Stack, Lakehouse, and Medallion.

• Preferred: previous experience in the real estate sector (proptechs).
