Analytics Consultant

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Illinois.

📋 Description

• Generate reports, insights, and analytics to support the division.

• Develop report and analysis specifications tailored to business requirements.

• Offer consultation to users and collaborate on cross-functional teams to resolve divisional challenges.

• Create datasets and reports for analysis utilizing system reporting tools.

• Conduct research and assist in the analysis of data pertaining to strategic initiatives and broader research objectives.

• Serve as the liaison between the business and divisional data teams to produce actionable tools for analysis and reporting.

• Collaborate closely with customers to foster strong relationships.

• Cultivate a deeper understanding of divisional data to fulfill business needs.

• Examine complex business issues using both internal and external data to deliver insights for decision-makers.

• Detect and interpret trends and patterns within datasets to uncover influences.

⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor's degree and 2 years of experience in healthcare services, statistical analysis, or economics in the insurance industry or a related field OR a Master's degree in a related area OR 6 years of experience in healthcare services, statistical analysis, or insurance industry economics or a related field.

• Strong understanding and proficiency in querying a diverse range of internal and external data sources.

• Exceptional skills in programming languages such as SQL, R, and Python.

• Capability to design dynamic and visually appealing dashboards using Tableau or Power BI.

• High level of business intelligence and comprehension of guiding a business case from conception to execution with customers or partners.

• Outstanding communication and presentation abilities.

• Capacity to work autonomously and as part of a team.

• Demonstrated excellence in championing initiatives and collaborating with various stakeholders.

• Familiarity with project management methodologies.

• Experience in the healthcare sector, encompassing payor, provider, pharmacy, public health, or epidemiology.

• Proficiency with version control and collaborative tools like GitHub.

• Knowledge of data visualization software.
