Analytical Consultant

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.

📋 Description

• Articulate business performance and suggest management actions through data analytics in a client-facing capacity.

• Create processes that facilitate the distribution and comprehension of insights throughout the broader bank.

• Leverage insights to foster effective business decision-making.

• Construct and present franchise analytics and insights utilizing financial and business performance data, including balance sheet and P&L.

• Develop and sustain statistical profitability models alongside relevant analytics.

• Deliver actionable management information regarding model performance.

• Offer insights through analysis and convey findings to stakeholders.

• Spot opportunities to enhance business strategy via product, proposition, target operating model, and pricing tactics.

• Refine analytical outputs, team methodologies, and processes.

• Collaborate with managers to optimize team performance and efficiency.

• Share technical knowledge to elevate team capabilities.

⛳️ Requirements

• Possess a degree in a quantitative field.

• Significant experience in banking or financial services.

• Proficient in data-driven analysis and consulting abilities.

• Background in analytics and data science, including SQL, Python, and Tableau or similar tools.

• Familiarity with stakeholder products, propositions, customers, customer journeys, markets, and competitors.

• Comprehensive experience with risk and finance systems, methodologies, and processes in retail or wholesale banking contexts.

• Knowledge of the regulatory framework and risk management and control processes relevant to the financial services sector.

• Consulting skills; prior consultancy experience is not mandatory.
