
Alliance & Market Expansion Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in North America.
β’ Drive the achievement of Multichem adoption, revenue goals, and business objectives.
β’ Cultivate alliances, partnership growth initiatives, opportunity management, and long-term business strategies.
β’ Collaborate with IVD partners and end-user organizations to enhance and broaden Quality Control portfolio opportunities.
β’ Organize workstreams and deliverables to secure complex sales opportunities.
β’ Facilitate the onboarding of new laboratories and laboratory networks.
β’ Increase market share throughout North America.
β’ Coordinate efforts with LGC and IVD partner sales, product, commercial leadership, distributors, procurement, laboratory directors, and scientific teams.
β’ Develop and present customized presentations of Multichem QC products and IAMQC software solutions.
β’ Handle objections and engage in related sales activities.
β’ Oversee implementation projects and deliverables, including crosswalks, forecasts, and utilization estimates.
β’ Assist in contract negotiations, trade show engagements, and cross-functional project communications.
β’ Lead sales processes and provide precise data to support complex opportunity closure and solution implementation.
β’ Maintain expertise in clinical diagnostics, quality control products, immunoassay workflows, clinical biochemistry, business partnerships, and laboratory management.
β’ Enhance partnership effectiveness, customer experience, commercial performance, operational alignment, forecasting accuracy, and market penetration.
β’ Develop and sustain forecasts, sales pipelines, performance metrics, growth plans, pricing models, market analyses, and business review reporting.
β’ Travel to customer locations, industry conferences, trade shows, and business meetings.
β’ Comply with company policies, commercial compliance requirements, quality standards, business conduct expectations, and applicable regulations.
β’ Perform additional duties to support business objectives and strategic partnership initiatives.
β’ Bachelor's degree in Biomedical Science, Clinical Biochemistry, Life Sciences, or a related scientific field.
β’ At least 5 years of experience in IVD, laboratory diagnostics, life sciences, or related commercial sales positions, with a focus on strategic partnerships, corporate accounts, or key account management.
β’ Proven experience in developing and managing strategic B2B partnerships and complex customer relationships.
β’ Strong knowledge of clinical diagnostics markets, especially in clinical biochemistry and immunoassay testing.
β’ Established connections within North American diagnostic laboratories, healthcare networks, or stakeholders in the diagnostic industry.
β’ Advanced capabilities in sales planning, account management, forecasting, and pipeline management.
β’ Strong project management experience in coordinating cross-functional initiatives and driving results.
β’ Exceptional skills in presentation, negotiation, communication, and executive engagement.
β’ Proficient in Microsoft Excel for forecasting, pricing analysis, and complex business modeling.
β’ Excellent organizational skills to manage multiple priorities across geographically diverse markets.
β’ Fluent in written and spoken English communication.
β’ Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook, and CRM platforms.
β’ Experience in molecular diagnostics, molecular workflows, or serology testing environments.
β’ Functional fluency in Spanish.
β’ Working knowledge of ISO 13485, ISO 15189, CLSI, CAP, and regional laboratory accreditation standards.
β’ Experience within multinational life science, diagnostics, or medical device organizations.
β’ Familiarity with quality control data management solutions and laboratory informatics platforms.
β’ Willingness and ability to travel up to 60% of working time, including overnight domestic and international travel throughout North America.
β’ Ability to adhere to site-specific health, safety, and biosecurity requirements.
β’ Capability to utilize required personal protective equipment during applicable site visits.
β’ Remote work arrangement; primarily a home-based work environment.
β’ Frequent travel to customer sites, partner facilities, conferences, trade shows, and internal business meetings.
