Airline Sourcing Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.

📋 Description

• Perform market research, property assessments, and market RFPs for crew accommodations.

• Negotiate terms and rates for RFPs concerning crew, DPAX, and URA hotels and transportation.

• Finalize contracts for DPAX hotels and transportation, as well as URAs.

• Monitor market conditions for price fluctuations and identify risks and opportunities.

• Create pricing comparisons and evaluate final hotel and transportation options.

• Generate market intelligence reports for smaller cities.

• Identify potential savings and revenue opportunities within markets.

• Evaluate hotels and transport vendors based on client specifications.

• Prepare, present, and deliver necessary reports and documents.

• Engage in product development by providing feedback and user insights.

• Comprehend clients’ operational and accommodation needs.

• Build relationships with hotel and transportation providers.

• Follow up with Account Management until the business placement is complete.

• Negotiate and finalize fee agreements as required.

• Maintain a thorough understanding of hotel brands and management firms.

• Travel for hotel site visits as directed.

• Report to the Global Director of Airline Sourcing and collaborate with various teams and departments.

• Strong knowledge and understanding of both the Aviation and Hospitality sectors.

• Exceptional interpersonal skills and a customer-oriented approach to building partnerships and alliances.

• Excellent time management, prioritization, and follow-up abilities.

• Proven negotiation skills.

• Strong financial insight and meticulous attention to detail.

• Proficient in computer applications, including high-level expertise in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Slack, and Zoom.

• Capacity to learn new platforms and tools.
