AI Tutor – Malay

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants anywhere in the world.

📋 Description

• Train and enhance Grok for voice interactions, speech recognition, and multilingual auditory experiences.

• Provide labels, annotations, recordings, and inputs for multilingual audio projects utilizing proprietary software.

• Translate and localize UI text, prompts, responses, and other written content from English into Malay.

• Curate high-quality audio data that captures linguistic and prosodic features such as intonation, rhythm, and accent.

• Collaborate with technical personnel on speech modulation, accent variation, noisy recordings, and multilingual audio processing.

• Enhance annotation tools and audio workflows in partnership with technical staff.

⛳️ Requirements

• Native proficiency in Malay, with experience in diverse accents, dialects, or regional variations.

• Proficient in English at a minimum B2 level.

• Clear and natural vocal delivery with suitable pronunciation for audio recording.

• Strong auditory perception of speech nuances, accents, pronunciation, intonation, and audio quality.

• Capability to manage multilingual audio content and assess speech accuracy, cultural vocal expressions, and contextual interpretation.

• Ability to transcribe audio accurately across different accents and varying audio quality.

• Competence in translating and localizing text accurately between English and Malay.

• Comfort in providing high-quality voice recordings and feedback on audio samples in multiple languages.

• Strong comprehension and independent judgment regarding ambiguous or varied audio materials, including noisy or accented speech.

• Excellent communication, interpersonal, analytical, detail-oriented, and organizational skills.

• Commitment to advancing sophisticated multilingual AI audio capabilities.

• Personal device must be a Chromebook, Mac running macOS 11.0 or later, or Windows 10 or later.

• Visa sponsorship is not available.

• Preferred: background in linguistics, speech sciences, cognitive science, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.

• Preferred: experience with speech/audio datasets, annotation workflows, AI training data, voice models, translation/localization workflows, or professional voice work.

• Preferred: portfolio of voice samples, annotated transcripts, or audio-related work.
