This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States, +16 more locations.
• Establish the technical standards and architecture for chatbot systems.
• Define the priorities for the prompt-engineering team while ensuring scalable architecture.
• Create automations for record disputes, reduction of email/callouts, and document validation.
• Assess emerging AI technologies, including voicebots and computer-use agents.
• Determine which AI investments to pursue and develop systems for production deployment.
• Collaborate with OpenAI to assess and implement next-generation voice models and workflow automation.
• Over 5 years of experience in software engineering.
• Preferably experience in an early-stage startup with comprehensive ownership of outcomes.
• In-depth hands-on experience with AI and the capability to evaluate competing architectures or methodologies.
• Proven experience in deploying LLM-based systems into production.
• Familiarity with evaluations, regressions, latency, cost, and failure management.
• Experience in building with newly launched AI models.
• Proficient in TypeScript, Nest.js, React, GraphQL, AWS, ECS/EKS, Lambda, OpenAI, Anthropic Claude, and Google Gemini.
• Must currently reside in an eligible location: AZ, CA, CO, FL, GA, IL, MA, NC, NJ, NV, NY, OR, TN, TX, UT, VA, or Ontario, Canada.
