This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.
• Lead intricate control system designs, encompassing I/O design, architecture, submittals, and testing documentation.
• Enhance and broaden technical expertise through training, publications, and active engagement in the industry.
• Provide technical leadership across various projects and teams.
• Support business development initiatives through technical proposals and presentations.
• Work alongside project managers to ensure the timely, accurate, and cost-effective delivery of projects.
• Mentor engineers while offering expert guidance on technical, financial, and operational matters.
• Uphold company design standards and quality through the Quality Management System (QMS).
• Communicate proactively and professionally with clients.
• Comply with client-specific standards and procedures.
• Provide prompt problem-solving assistance.
• Execute and supervise project tasks within budget and on schedule.
• Lead complete project lifecycles when assigned.
• Act as the primary contact for clients on assigned projects.
• Identify changes in scope and potential new business opportunities.
• Delegate tasks effectively and ensure accountability within the team.
• Estimate timelines and manage project risks efficiently.
• Foster a collaborative and positive team environment.
• Direct and assist junior staff in construction, operations, and maintenance activities as necessary.
• Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field with pertinent experience.
• Over 10 years of total professional experience.
• At least 3 years as a Control Systems Project Engineer II (or a comparable role).
• Professional Engineering (PE) license and/or relevant industry certifications are preferred.
• Advanced capabilities in leadership and decision-making.
• Ability to maintain effectiveness under pressure.
• Strong mindset for innovation and process improvement.
• Demonstrated ability to motivate and mentor fellow engineers.
• Excellent relationship-building skills within the industry.
• Commitment to ongoing professional development.
• Active involvement in industry organizations.
• Willingness to travel overnight up to 50% of the time as required.
• Participation in on-call rotation as necessary.
• A valid driver's license is required.
• Must be fit for duty at all times.
