AI Software Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Uruguay.

📋 Description

• Design and implement production-quality AI agents that are efficient, dependable, user-friendly, scalable, and crucial to our mission.

• Take ownership of the Agent Development Life Cycle from the initial pilot phase through to deployment and ongoing enhancements.

• Develop, optimize, and advance AI agents within live production settings.

• Establish best practices for managing the Agent Development Life Cycle.

• Collaborate directly with large enterprises to grasp business challenges and create AI agents that revolutionize operations at scale.

• Partner with innovative startups to integrate AI agents throughout their business frameworks.

• Identify customer requirements and prototype novel tools and features.

• Work alongside research, product, and platform teams to influence the future of AI agent development and the foundational platform.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proven experience in building and scaling comprehensive production systems.

• Background in constructing or deploying AI/LLM systems in a production environment.

• Knowledge of AI agent tools, evaluation frameworks, agent tooling, RAG pipelines, and prompt engineering.

• Strong technical problem-solving capabilities in rapidly changing and ambiguous settings.

• A builder and tinkerer mindset with a high degree of autonomy.

• Comfortable engaging directly with customers to discern needs and tackle real-world challenges.

• Exceptional communication skills for both technical and non-technical audiences.

• Experience as a founder or founding engineer is a significant advantage.

• Prior experience with React, TypeScript, and/or Go is a considerable asset.

• Previous roles involving customer interaction or leadership of technical projects with external stakeholders is a notable plus.
