This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Poland.
• Lead a diverse engineering team of around 10–15 individuals focused on AI technologies.
• Foster team growth, encourage autonomy, and promote effective collaboration.
• Take ownership of the AI Engineering strategy.
• Contribute to products that leverage machine learning and AI-native technologies.
• Collaborate with product managers and stakeholders to establish requirements, set priorities, create delivery plans, define features, and enhance products.
• Develop and implement standards and processes for AI-native product development, including CI/CD with evaluations, test sets, and search subsystems.
• Choose and deploy open-source and commercial tools, such as MCP Servers, A2A communication, CI/CD pipelines, workflows, and agent definitions.
• Lead the creation of AI-native workflows that involve streaming, long-running tasks, and procedural UX.
• Enhance system architecture, application design, and engineering processes.
• Participate in hiring, onboarding, and fostering professional development.
• Work with strategic vendors and technology partners on collaborations, service agreements, and external innovations.
• Oversee budget responsibilities and influence relationships with vendors and technology partners.
• Minimum of seven years of experience in an engineering role post-BS or post-MS.
• Proven experience in leading high-performing Agile development teams.
• Strong grasp of Agile principles and methodologies.
• Demonstrated success in delivering scalable, impactful products driven by machine learning.
• Experience in building backend platforms that support multiple product lines.
• Strong technical judgment and accountability for results, quality, and team growth.
• Effective at stakeholder communication, influencing, negotiating, and translating business goals into technology decisions.
• Capability to work independently and take ownership of decisions.
• Creative and pragmatic approach to solving challenges.
• Proficiency in both Polish and English.
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, mathematics, econometrics, statistics, or a related field.
