AI & Engineering Instructor, Coach

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.

📋 Description

• Provide expert responses, both written and verbal, to inquiries regarding AI-assisted software development, contemporary AI architectures, MCP, and systems integration.

• Enhance and expand training content through kick-off and closing live events, digital workshops, hackathons, and personalized learning support.

• Assist learners during sandbox exercises, hackathons, and client implementation projects.

• Evaluate learning progress.

• Conduct and assess final projects, including the deployment of a minimum viable product (MVP) solution.

• Determine training outcomes.

• Develop, prepare, and continuously refine learning materials on AI coding copilots, specification-driven development, RAG, MCP, and cloud deployment.

• Ensure the quality of current training programs and provide constructive feedback to the Learning Team.

• Conduct one-on-one coaching sessions on debugging, code reviews, build-vs-buy decisions, and test automation.

• Support new team members.

• Collaborate with the Coaching Team Lead, the Learning Team, and other stakeholders.

• Actively participate in the ongoing enhancement of the training program.

⛳️ Requirements

• A degree in Computer Science, Business Informatics, or a related field.

• Several years of experience as a Software Engineer or AI Engineer, preferably with practical experience in AI-assisted software development.

• Familiarity with coding copilots, LLM APIs, agent architectures, RAG, and MCP.

• Proficient in testing, debugging, CI/CD, Docker, and cloud deployment.

• Experience integrating AI components into existing legacy systems.

• Knowledge of data management for AI, particularly data chunking, indexing, and RAG.

• Understanding of AI governance, the EU AI Act, data security, and Responsible AI principles.

• Teaching experience in delivering technical content to seasoned software engineers.

• Familiarity with instructional concepts in adult education and online learning.

• Strong customer service orientation, empathy, clear communication skills, and a culture of constructive feedback.

• A hands-on approach, team spirit, resilience, and adaptability.

• Excellent proficiency in both German and English (minimum C1 level).

• EU citizenship or a valid work permit for Germany.
