AI Design Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.

📋 Description

• Analyze and thoroughly comprehend customer experience challenges through user research, data analysis, feedback, and direct observations.

• Articulate AI-driven features or UX enhancements, which includes defining problem statements, user flows, wireframes, and success metrics.

• Create prototypes and develop comprehensive solutions that encompass front-end design, interaction design, and AI-driven logic.

• Design and enhance user-friendly, visually appealing interfaces for intricate AI-powered functionalities.

• Seamlessly incorporate AI into products, prioritizing user value, usability, and dependable outcomes.

• Collaborate with product, design, and engineering teams to efficiently deliver high-quality features.

• Take ownership of quality and craftsmanship, ensuring that delivered work is swift, dependable, accessible, and enjoyable.

• Establish usability testing, analytics, and user feedback systems to enhance the customer experience.

• Be accountable for both the quality of design and the effectiveness of implemented solutions.

⛳️ Requirements

• Strong front-end engineering proficiency, including experience with React or similar technologies.

• A keen eye for visual design, interaction design, and typography.

• Proven ability to manage design challenges from initial concept to polished, delivered solutions.

• Experience in creating customer-facing products, design systems, internal tools, or prototypes with a focus on usability and visual quality.

• Capability to work effectively across product, design, and engineering disciplines.

• Experience in writing specifications, designing user flows, creating mockups/prototypes, and developing solutions.

• Familiarity with AI tools that expedite design and development processes, including AI design/prototyping applications, chat-based coding assistants, or automation tools.

• A portfolio or examples showcasing strong UX/UI sensibility and successful customer-facing design projects.

• Exceptional communication skills for collaboration with cross-functional product, design, and engineering teams.

• A customer-centric mindset rooted in user needs, usability research, and actual behavior.

• Ability to act swiftly, make informed design and engineering decisions, and iterate based on user feedback and data.

• Familiarity with Figma or comparable design tools.

• Understanding of cloud environments from any major provider.

• Proficient in analyzing usage data and qualitative feedback to pinpoint friction areas and steer design improvements.

• Experience in fast-paced, highly iterative work environments.
