AI & Data Analytics Lead

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Oversee the practical implementation and adoption of AI technologies within the company's various business functions.

• Recognize opportunities for AI to streamline manual tasks, enhance decision-making, boost productivity, minimize errors, and develop new capabilities.

• Assess emerging AI technologies, tools, platforms, and models to determine their applicability to the business.

• Create and implement AI-driven workflows while incorporating AI into current business processes, systems, reporting, analytics, and workflows.

• Design AI solutions that enable employees to engage with company data using natural language.

• Automate repetitive tasks such as analysis, reporting, research, data preparation, reconciliation, forecasting, and other manual processes.

• Develop scalable AI solutions that can be replicated across different departments.

• Set best practices for the responsible and secure use of AI with company data.

• Revolutionize Excel-based analyses and workflows using AI, automation, Power Query, Power Pivot, VBA, Office Scripts, and related technologies.

• Connect Excel to platforms like Snowflake, APIs, BI tools, and other data sources.

• Work extensively with Snowflake; write and optimize SQL queries; and create data models and datasets for analytics purposes.

• Utilize Tableau and other BI tools to generate dashboards and reports.

• Integrate AI into dashboards and analytics, developing natural-language or AI-assisted interfaces for company data.

• Collaborate with Technology and Engineering teams to enhance data pipelines, integrations, APIs, and overall data environments.

• Partner with leadership and business units to pinpoint high-value analytical and AI opportunities.

• Convert business challenges into data and AI-driven solutions.

• Develop KPIs, dashboards, analytical models, forecasts, and decision-support instruments.

• Leverage AI to refine forecasting, scenario analysis, budgeting, financial analysis, and business planning.

• Identify and automate manual and repetitive processes using AI, APIs, workflow tools, or traditional automation methods.

• Construct automated workflows that connect data, applications, and AI models.

• Evaluate the time, cost, and efficiency improvements achieved through AI initiatives.

• Create scalable solutions instead of one-off experiments.

• Foster an AI-first analytics and automation culture throughout the organization.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 5 years of experience in Data Analytics, Business Intelligence, Data Science, AI, Automation, or a related discipline.

• Significant hands-on experience with AI and generative AI tools, along with a proven ability to apply them to real-world business challenges.

• Extensive experience with Snowflake and SQL.

• Proficient with Tableau or another enterprise BI platform.

• Advanced skills in Excel, including Power Query, Power Pivot, data modeling, and automation techniques.

• Experience in integrating AI with Excel, APIs, databases, BI tools, and business applications.

• Capability to develop practical AI solutions.

• Strong grasp of data structures, data modeling, analytics, and business intelligence principles.

• Excellent problem-solving abilities.

• Ability to convey complex technical concepts to non-technical audiences.

• Comfortable working autonomously and managing projects from conception to implementation.

• Strong business insight and a curiosity about the overall operations of the business.

• Required technical skills: Generative AI / LLMs; AI workflow design and implementation; Snowflake; SQL; Tableau; Advanced Excel; Power Query / Power Pivot; Data modeling; Data visualization; Automation.

• Strongly preferred skills: Python; APIs; Office Scripts / VBA; Microsoft Copilot; OpenAI / ChatGPT APIs; Claude / Gemini or similar LLM platforms; dbt; Data pipelines / ETL; AI agents and agentic workflows; Machine learning / predictive analytics.
