AI Business Analyst – Freelance

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Slovakia.

📋 Description

• Identify business requirements and objectives, translating them into well-defined software specifications.

• Facilitate discovery and audit sessions with clients.

• Engage in AI-driven prototyping and shape innovative solutions.

• Carry out business and competitor analyses to develop optimal solutions.

• Work in close collaboration with stakeholders, project managers, designers, and development teams.

• Manage requirements through crafting and refining user stories and acceptance criteria.

• Prioritize requirements based on business value and feedback from stakeholders.

• Provide support during pre-sales and the initial phases of projects.

• Take part in backlog management and various Agile/Scrum practices.

• Promote continuous enhancement of product quality and customer satisfaction.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 4 years of experience as a Business Analyst within a technology company.

• Proficient in written and spoken English at an Upper-Intermediate level or higher.

• Strong understanding of Business Analysis theories and best practices.

• Familiarity with Scrum and Agile methodologies.

• Excellent client management and communication abilities.

• Proficient in analytical thinking, problem-solving, functional decomposition, self-organization, attention to detail, and time management.

• Capability to communicate effectively with developers and designers.

• Experience in gathering requirements through workshops, discovery calls, stakeholder interviews, and documentation review.

• Knowledge of the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC).

• Basic technical or engineering background, with the ability to discuss solution strategies with developers.

• Familiarity with AI prototyping or vibe-coding tools such as Lovable, Bolt, or similar platforms.

• General understanding of AI concepts, including LLMs, models, and agents, along with a willingness to expand knowledge in this area.

• Proven experience managing discovery phases, client audits, and pre-sales efforts.

• Highly energetic, proactive, self-motivated, and exceptionally responsible.

• Experience with UML, BPMN, and flowchart diagrams.

• Ability to interpret API documentation (Swagger/OpenAPI).

• Experience in client communication with markets in the USA and Europe.

• Background in conducting business and competitor analyses.
