AI & Automation Solutions Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Egypt, +4 more countries.

📋 Description

• Design, develop, test, and implement AI-driven automations to minimize manual tasks and enhance operational efficiency.

• Create workflows and AI agents that gather, process, and respond to information across various business systems.

• Automate repetitive reporting, data consolidation, and other labor-intensive operational tasks.

• Monitor and consistently enhance the reliability, scalability, and effectiveness of automation solutions.

• Identify actionable opportunities to integrate AI into existing workflows.

• Connect systems via APIs, webhooks, databases, and workflow automation platforms.

• Create integrations across transportation and logistics systems, accounting platforms, operational tools, and other business applications.

• Troubleshoot issues related to integrations and data flows.

• Develop custom integrations and AI capabilities utilizing Python, JavaScript, or similar technologies.

• Integrate Large Language Models (LLMs) such as OpenAI and Claude into business workflows and applications.

• Collaborate with the internal IT team to enhance applications and processes.

• Partner with business leaders and department stakeholders to gain insights into operational processes.

• Identify inefficient workflows and convert business requirements into effective technical solutions.

• Assess AI and automation projects based on business impact, efficiency improvements, and technical viability.

• Educate and train employees on AI tools while supporting adoption and change management efforts.

• Document automations, integrations, workflows, and best practices.

• Adhere to security, access-control, data-handling, VPN, and IT infrastructure standards.

• Deliver initial automations within the first 90 days and continually seek high-impact opportunities.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 3 years of professional experience in software development, systems integration, automation engineering, or a relevant technical field.

• Proven experience in creating and deploying AI-powered automations and integrations in real-world business contexts.

• Experience in transportation, logistics, or related operational industries is highly preferred.

• Experience across various departments, systems, or business units is advantageous.

• Proficient in Python and/or JavaScript.

• Strong expertise in APIs, webhooks, databases, and system integrations.

• Familiarity with n8n, Make, Zapier, or similar automation platforms.

• Ability to assess when low-code automation is suitable versus when custom development is needed.

• Experience integrating LLMs like OpenAI, Claude, or similar technologies.

• Knowledge of AI agents, workflow automation, and data-processing principles.

• Experience working with SQL and structured business data.

• Ability to engage with CRM, accounting, logistics, operational, and other business platforms.

• Understanding of security, access control, and data handling protocols.

• Capability to document technical workflows and articulate solutions to both technical and non-technical audiences.

• Availability to work from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM EST, aligned with U.S. client time zones.
