AI Automation Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Colombia.

📋 Description

• Implement the automation strategy established by the AI Practices Lead.

• Design, develop, and sustain automation and infrastructure for project management and delivery processes.

• Create and maintain client reporting dashboards and internal agency dashboards linked to real data.

• Develop capacity planning tools that monitor team workload across ongoing tasks.

• Establish recruiting automation for tracking pipelines, facilitating candidate communication, and minimizing manual coordination.

• Enhance both internal and external information and communication channels.

• Work closely with relevant teams to ensure systems are compatible with their workflows.

• Oversee and troubleshoot production systems.

• Identify and suggest the next most impactful processes to automate.

• Report directly to the AI Practices Lead.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proven experience in building automation and internal tools in a production setting, beyond just personal projects.

• Strong systems thinking capabilities and the ability to visualize how information and work flow within an organization.

• Comfortable collaborating with project management, delivery, recruiting, and leadership stakeholders.

• Ability to articulate the value of automating a process and the suitability of a particular solution.

• Experience with dashboarding and reporting tools.

• Proficient in English to facilitate daily collaboration with a US-based team.

• Nice to have: experience in an agency, professional services, or client delivery environment.

• Nice to have: experience in developing recruiting or HR-related automation.

• Nice to have: familiarity with AI/LLM-based tools and agent workflows.

• Nice to have: experience in establishing systems from scratch in a lean, fast-paced environment.
