AI Analytics Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Colombia.

📋 Description

• Take ownership of the complete delivery process for AI agents in the embedded function, starting from problem identification to production adoption.

• Identify workflows with high friction and conduct iterative testing to ensure stable deployments with engaged users and documented, measurable impact.

• Develop comprehensive documentation for each released agent, covering inputs, outputs, failure scenarios, and resolution steps.

• Empower team members to operate or maintain AI agents autonomously through a self-service operations model.

• Facilitate structured discovery sessions with stakeholders from the embedded team.

• Evaluate business challenges based on friction level, feasibility, and projected impact, while maintaining a prioritized backlog of opportunities.

• Track the performance of deployed agents and pinpoint improvements based on usage data and failure patterns.

• Execute documented enhancements and verify improvements in reliability, user adoption, or output quality.

• Convert business challenges into pipelines, AI agents, models, or a combination of these solutions.

• Create systems that automate repetitive analytical tasks.

• Deliver data products featuring AI-assisted monitoring and operational transparency.

• Provide rapid delivery of production-ready data solutions utilizing AI-first engineering methodologies.

⛳️ Requirements

• Demonstrated experience with SQL and data modeling, enhanced with AI capabilities.

• Background in designing data models that can be comprehended, maintained, and extended by AI agents.

• Proficient SQL skills for querying and transforming large datasets, leveraging AI for faster development, logic validation, and documentation of transformations.

• Experience with AI-assisted testing and data quality validation methods.

• Proven expertise in Python for developing AI-driven data workflows.

• Experience in creating Python applications and automations that link AI agents with data systems.

• A history of delivering reliable Python-based pipelines or AI agents in production environments.

• Experience in defining specifications for inputs, outputs, transformations, and quality checks prior to implementation.

• Familiarity with Claude Code, LiteLLM, or other similar AI development tools.

• Ability to showcase significant AI enhancements in the delivery of production-ready data pipelines.

• Practical experience with dbt, Airflow, or comparable orchestration frameworks.

• Experience in integrating AI capabilities into production pipelines, including intelligent transformations, anomaly detection, or workflow automation.

• Capability to manage data pipelines end-to-end, including the AI orchestration layer.

• Strong production-scale experience with BigQuery, Snowflake, Redshift, or Databricks.

• Experience utilizing AI to optimize queries, enhance documentation, and automate monitoring processes.

• Ability to determine the most suitable pipeline, AI agent, model, or combined solution for a business issue.

• Experience in constructing systems that automate repetitive analytical tasks instead of depending on manual reporting.

• Experience in producing documentation that allows engineers and AI agents to maintain and enhance data systems.

• Proven track record of shipping data products with AI-assisted monitoring and operational visibility.

• Demonstrated ability to quickly deliver production-ready data solutions using AI-first engineering practices.

• Capacity to work independently, prioritize tasks effectively, and deliver high-quality solutions with minimal supervision.

• Conversational English proficiency is required in the application process.
