Agile Delivery Lead – Scrum Master

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Assemble high-performance software and infrastructure teams to deliver valuable products, platform components, and projects utilizing Agile methodologies.

• Collaborate with the Product Owner and Technical Lead within development teams.

• Guide team development and implement ongoing enhancements in processes and communication.

• Educate teams on Lean and Agile methodologies, practices, and principles.

• Foster self-sustaining team practices related to communication, estimation, planning, prioritization, and delivery.

• Promote team well-being, accountability, feedback, psychological safety, and constructive conflict resolution.

• Maintain transparent facilitation practices and metrics for backlog management, workload, throughput, velocity, delivery, and milestones.

• Evaluate team capabilities and conduct competency gap analyses.

• Facilitate daily stand-ups, sprint planning sessions, demos, and retrospectives.

• Assist Product Owners, Platform Leads, and Technical Leads with team dynamics, prioritization, technical decisions, and managing technical debt.

• Eliminate obstacles to delivery and ensure transparency in sprint work.

• Coordinate multiple teams to achieve on-time delivery.

• Develop release plans, contingency plans, scenario plans, and resource forecasts.

• Manage prioritization across teams based on interdependencies.

• Prepare project plans, meeting agendas, follow-ups, and documentation for decisions.

• Keep stakeholders updated on project status, achievements, and challenges; create action plans to address any delays.

• Design and implement a Team Maturity model across the Technology team.

• Enhance technical skills, communication, culture, systems, processes, ownership, and management through training, coaching, education, and events.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 5 years of experience in Agile facilitation and project management.

• 5-7 years of experience in a multi-team, cross-functional platform environment.

• Strong facilitation and collaboration abilities.

• Preference for candidates with a blend of startup and/or growth-stage experience.

• Preference for candidates with a background in organizational change management.

• Experience supporting Salesforce development teams is advantageous.

• Proven track record in facilitating the development of high-quality teams.

• Capability to consistently and actively coach teams towards improved health and performance.

• Demonstrated ability to execute effectively in cross-functional implementations.

• Proven experience working successfully in fast-paced, dynamic, growth-stage organizations.

• Ability to inspire and motivate by example, while managing organizational change.

• Knowledge of Lean and Agile methodologies, with a focus on pragmatism and adaptability.

• Proven skills in stakeholder management, strategic prioritization, consensus building, and advocacy.

• Demonstrated willingness to operate at multiple levels: strategic, managerial, and executional.

• Exceptional visual, verbal, and written communication, presentation, and storytelling skills.
