Agile Coach

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Illinois.

📋 Description

• Support teams by applying SAFe principles to enhance product delivery and contribute positively to the overall program.

• Introduce new ideas, convey forthcoming changes, and improve metrics to promote continuous enhancement.

• Educate executives, leaders, Agile teams, and SAFe roles, including Product Owner, Product Manager, Scrum Master, and Release Train Engineer.

• Engage in PI Planning and Inspect and Adapt events.

• Guide the RTE and leadership in conducting large-scale planning events.

• Mentor leaders and stakeholders in developing and sustaining the Vision, Roadmap, and Program Backlogs.

• Assess and enhance the SAFe implementation through SAFe evaluations.

• Foster a DevOps culture and mindset.

• Coach on the Continuous Delivery Pipeline, infrastructure, and relevant Agile architecture practices.

• Supervise and mentor scrum masters and RTE.

• Collaborate closely with government leadership, RTEs, scrum masters, Agile teams, and the entire ART to facilitate ART events and support value delivery.

⛳️ Requirements

• Minimum security clearance required to start: Secret.

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent, along with seven (7) years of related experience.

• At least two (2) years of experience in coaching SAFe implementations.

• Certification as a SAFe® Practice Consultant (SPC).

• Exceptional written and verbal communication abilities.

• Must be a U.S. citizen.

• Must successfully complete an IT-1 background investigation.

• Experience in the Federal Government is preferred.

• Experience in implementing Full SAFe for an enterprise that builds large-scale solutions is preferred.

• Willingness to travel up to 10% as needed.
