This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Peru.
• Collaborate directly with clients to identify complex business challenges and transform them into scalable, production-ready agentic AI solutions.
• Develop and execute multi-step agent systems, which include orchestration, tool and function invocation, task decomposition, and multi-agent coordination as necessary.
• Create integrations between agents and enterprise systems utilizing APIs, MCP servers, and structured tool contracts.
• Establish evaluation frameworks, guardrails, grounding and citation checks, as well as human-in-the-loop workflows.
• Equip agent systems for traceability and observability, monitoring actions, model behavior, token and cost usage, latency, and overall system performance.
• Design and sustain state and memory across extended workflows.
• Implement model routing, retries, idempotency, and other reliability strategies.
• Build and deploy AI solutions utilizing Azure or AWS cloud platforms and services.
• Employ software engineering best practices with Python, Java, APIs, containers, source control, automated testing, and CI/CD methodologies.
• Work alongside client engineering and security teams through architecture evaluations, threat modeling, security assessments, audits, and adherence to enterprise delivery requirements.
• Assess the suitability of agentic architectures compared to deterministic pipelines, traditional machine learning, or alternative methods.
• Transform successful client engagement strategies into reusable Zeal patterns and solutions.
• Foster trust with clients and internal teams through effective communication, technical acumen, problem-solving skills, and execution capabilities.
• Solid foundation in software engineering principles.
• Practical experience in designing and delivering production agentic AI systems.
• Familiarity with tool and function invocation, multi-step workflows, orchestration, task decomposition, or multi-agent architectures.
• Experience in evaluating agent behavior and analyzing system failures.
• Background in building evaluation harnesses, guardrails, grounding checks, human-in-the-loop controls, and mechanisms for error mitigation.
• Extensive hands-on experience with either Azure or AWS and their associated AI and infrastructure services.
• Strong command of Python or Java programming languages.
• Proficient in API design, containerization, automated testing, source control, and CI/CD practices.
• Adequate machine learning understanding to discern when traditional ML or deterministic techniques may be more fitting than an LLM.
• Experience in delivering software solutions within large organizations.
• Knowledge of role-based access, data isolation, security assessments, compliance, change management, and production governance.
• Familiarity with agent traceability, state and memory management, model routing, latency and cost visibility, retries, and idempotency.
• Exceptional verbal and written communication abilities.
• Strong technical judgment and problem-solving skills.
• Genuine interest in consulting.
• Experience with MCP, emerging tool interoperability standards, RAGAS, fine-tuning, model distillation or optimization, and working in highly regulated industries is advantageous but not mandatory.
• A values-driven workplace founded on kindness, generosity, and integrity.
• Opportunities for variety and growth while consulting for Fortune 1000 companies across diverse industries and technical environments.
• Engaging projects that have significant impact and outreach.
• Human review conducted for every application.
