
Aftermarket Sales Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in North Carolina.
• Proactively and strategically seek out new aftermarket business prospects within the designated region.
• Establish and cultivate long-term relationships with customers in the area.
• Offer spare parts inventory programs, tooling commitments, retrofit sales, preventative maintenance agreements, and specialized services.
• Seek and oversee service contracts and schedules, including annual renewals.
• Organize and facilitate ongoing customer support meetings to ensure satisfaction and uncover growth opportunities.
• Maintain action logs and manage internal issue resolution.
• Collaborate with Sales leadership and cross-functional teams on aftermarket business initiatives.
• Provide management with sales forecasts, business plans, and account analyses.
• Travel throughout the assigned region to uphold customer relationships and promote growth.
• Advocate for customers while aligning with company objectives and profitability targets.
• Partner with senior management on the necessary organizational structure for regional business expansion.
• Ensure adherence to company policies.
• Reach aftermarket sales revenue targets within the assigned region.
• Interface across functions to guarantee smooth information transfer and customer support.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business or Engineering.
• A minimum of 3 years of sales experience, ideally in an industrial or technical setting.
• At least 5 years of experience in the pharmaceutical, biotech industry, and/or complex machinery.
• Capability to work independently.
• Willingness to travel up to 50% of the year.
• Strong presentation skills.
• Clear verbal and written communication abilities.
• Excellent customer relations and listening skills.
• Proficient in contract negotiation.
• Ability to present effective and persuasive arguments.
• Strong organizational skills.
• Ability to multitask effectively.
• Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
• Familiarity with Salesforce.
