Aerial Sensor Operator

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Ohio.

📋 Description

• Engage in ground and flight operations, encompassing mission planning, execution, briefings, debriefings, communication, and safety protocols.

• Ensure accurate and high-quality data collection.

• Comprehend the processes involved in tactical and wide-area mapping.

• Adhere to relevant regulations and established operational procedures and practices.

• Download, edit, and troubleshoot sensor data collected in the field.

• Set up and manage ground GPS base stations while conducting flight planning.

• Provide reports on sensor operations during airborne mapping missions.

⛳️ Requirements

• High School Diploma and/or G.E.D. or two (2) years of relevant experience; a degree in GIS, geography, or a related field is preferred.

• Candidates must be eligible to work in the U.S. without requiring employer sponsorship.

• Willingness and ability to travel moderately to extensively, both domestically and potentially internationally; must be prepared for a rotating schedule of 21 days on and 14 days off.

• Preferred familiarity with ESRI software, including ArcGIS, Leica FlightPro, TerraSolid, and/or other related tools.

• Preferred experience with operating Leica Terrain Mapper, ADS 100, and DMC systems.

• Capability to deliver outstanding customer service.

• Proficient in Microsoft Office suite applications.

• Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.

• Ability to work autonomously as well as collaboratively within a team environment.

• Capacity to swiftly adapt and respond to changes in the industry and internal initiatives.
