This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Colorado.
• Identify significant problems faced by enterprise customers and the market that warrant solutions.
• Formulate product hypotheses that can be tested and outline essential experiences to address the most critical uncertainties.
• Conduct interviews, concept testing, prototyping, and pilot projects with actual clients.
• Make informed decisions to kill, pivot, or persevere based on evidence and document the reasoning behind these choices.
• Recognize Pearson products that can serve as a foundation for new concepts and foster internal collaborations.
• Manage integration compatibility with client ecosystems alongside engineering teams.
• Develop business cases and articulate product narratives to clients, ELS leadership, and partner teams.
• Implement necessary actions to expedite learning, such as interview guides, models, one-pagers, and AI-enhanced prototypes.
• Lead multiple zero-to-one product initiatives from concept development through validation and scaling decisions as a senior individual contributor.
• Extensive experience in senior product management with a proven zero-to-one success record, including guiding products or major initiatives from concept through validation to launch.
• Proficient in enterprise and B2B environments, with experience in procurement, security reviews, and change management.
• Strong instincts for experimentation, including the design of hypotheses and qualitative and quantitative validation methods.
• Exceptional communication skills, including clear writing, compelling storytelling, executive presentation abilities, and collaboration with engineering teams.
• Capability to manage multiple concurrent projects amidst uncertainty.
• Sufficient technical knowledge to discuss APIs, integrations, and system limitations.
• Familiarity with the enterprise learning ecosystem, such as LMS/LXP/HRIS, skills frameworks, credentialing, and L&D purchasing (preferred).
• Experience with LTI, SCORM, xAPI, SSO, and SCIM (preferred).
• Formal research training or extensive experience working alongside researchers (preferred).
• Involvement in committees, consortiums, or industry working groups (preferred).
