Junior Product Specialist – Aquapark

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Turkey.

📋 Description

• Engage in the design and development of captivating, challenging, and enjoyable levels that keep players invested and progressing.

• Create and refine game mechanics and features that enrich the primary gameplay experience.

• Assess player behavior, game data, and feedback to discover areas for enhancement.

• Work collaboratively with engineers and artists to bring level designs and features into fruition.

• Adjust game difficulty curves to guarantee suitable challenges and player retention throughout all levels.

• Keep an eye on the hybrid-casual and puzzle game landscape, evaluating competitor titles and emerging trends.

• Conduct testing and playtesting of levels and features to ensure quality and enjoyment.

• Quickly prototype concepts and integrate feedback from the team and data.

⛳️ Requirements

• A strong enthusiasm for action hybrid-casual games, with a comprehensive understanding of what makes them engaging and successful.

• Knowledge of player psychology and the factors that drive engagement, retention, and satisfaction in action games.

• An iterative approach with the capability to swiftly test, learn, and refine designs based on feedback.

• Proficient in iterating on designs directly in Unity, including creating levels within the level editor and adjusting parameters, prefabs, and configurations.

• An analytical mindset with the ability to analyze data, identify trends, and make data-informed design choices.

• Excellent communication skills and the ability to clearly express design concepts to cross-functional teams.

• Fluent in English.

• Experience with Unity and AI tools.

• Professional experience in game design, product specialization, or a comparable role in the mobile gaming sector is advantageous.

• Familiarity with A/B testing methodologies and a track record of launching successful mobile games are additional bonuses.
