This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New Jersey.
• Take ownership of designated event workstreams from the initial planning stage to post-event follow-up.
• Oversee timelines, budgets, vendors, venues, registration processes, attendee communications, materials, and production requirements.
• Convert marketing, commercial, audience, and brand goals into actionable event plans, milestones, and success metrics.
• Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to ensure readiness and outstanding delivery.
• Assist in executing successful events and providing a high-quality experience for attendees.
• Manage deliverables related to sponsorship and associations from planning through to activation.
• Facilitate benefit fulfillment, partner communication, and promotional commitments.
• Support opportunities for speaking engagements, executive interactions, and customer-facing activities.
• Work closely with Marketing, Sales, Product, Communications, Procurement, and Finance teams.
• Coordinate with vendors, agencies, sponsors, and external partners throughout the event lifecycle.
• Identify risks, dependencies, and execution challenges; propose solutions and escalate significant risks as necessary.
• Maintain project plans, budgets, decision logs, sponsor trackers, and event documentation.
• Record event outcomes, engagement metrics, feedback, and lessons learned.
• Analyze performance data and suggest improvements for future programs.
• Test tools, technologies, and methodologies that enhance scalability, measurement, and consistency.
• Provide guidance, coaching, and support to junior team members.
• Distribute templates, tools, and best practices among teams.
• Act as a subject matter expert in event planning and execution.
• Proven experience in independently managing complex business events, conferences, sponsorship programs, customer events, or association partnerships.
• Strong project management skills, including work planning, budget oversight, dependency tracking, and stakeholder coordination.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously while ensuring quality and attention to detail.
• Successful track record of working with vendors, agencies, sponsors, and external partners.
• Experience in delivering successful event programs from inception through to post-event reporting.
• Excellent organizational and project management abilities.
• Outstanding written and verbal communication skills.
• Capability to influence stakeholders and drive consensus without direct authority.
• Good judgment, adaptability, and problem-solving skills.
• Familiarity with event technology, attendee communications, registration systems, and event reporting.
• Understanding of how events enhance customer engagement, brand awareness, sales enablement, and thought leadership objectives.
• Ability to analyze data and translate insights into actionable recommendations.
• Commitment to delivering inclusive, accessible, and professionally executed event experiences.
• Experience with Cvent or similar event management platforms is desirable.
• Background in supporting conferences, sponsorships, exhibitions, and association programs is desirable.
• Exposure to Higher Education, Education Technology, SaaS, or B2B environments is desirable.
• Familiarity with CRM systems, lead capture processes, and event measurement frameworks is desirable.
