Admissions Representative

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Consult with and guide prospective students to identify their goals while offering advice on degree planning, payment options, transfer credits, and enrollment choices.

• Develop and execute action plans to aid students in reaching their specified objectives.

• Maintain communication with prospective students via phone, email, or other electronic methods.

• Make decisions regarding admissions based on the fulfillment of admission criteria and implement follow-up strategies.

• Safeguard student account confidentiality in accordance with FERPA regulations.

• Assess the academic records and documentation of prospective students for admission into APUS programs.

• Address and resolve both routine and escalated issues for prospective students.

• Foster effective relationships with departments such as Financial Aid, Fulfillment, Veteran and GI Bill assistance, Student Services, and Marketing.

• Achieve or surpass established performance goals and metrics.

• Participate in student recruitment and enrollment initiatives along with follow-up strategies.

• Perform additional tasks and assist with special projects as required.

⛳️ Requirements

• 1-2 years of experience in telemarketing, sales, service, online, or higher education is preferred.

• An Associate's Degree is mandatory.

• Must comply with the federal student privacy law (Family Education Rights and Privacy Act).

• Proven ability to utilize Customer Relationship Management (CRM) systems and other software applications relevant to Admissions.

• Must adhere to the designated work schedule.

• Maintain a professional appearance consistently.
