Admissions Advisor

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Engage potential students through both inbound and outbound calls as well as video conferencing.

• Achieve daily targets related to call volume, talk time, and progression of applicants.

• Conduct interviews with prospective students to evaluate their motivation, career aspirations, and educational barriers.

• Assist students in overcoming challenges and pinpoint the degree programs that best suit their needs.

• Showcase the advantages of education and DeVry University, customized to align with students' objectives.

• Navigate students through the admissions process effectively.

• Address inquiries and connect students with financial aid and academic advisors.

• Collect necessary documents required for enrollment.

• Ensure that students complete their admissions testing.

• Identify and reach out to additional prospective students by leveraging networking opportunities and relationships with current students.

• A bachelor's degree is preferred, or equivalent relevant experience is acceptable.

• A genuine passion for education and a commitment to helping prospective students realize their educational and career ambitions.

• Enjoy engaging in conversations with prospective students over the phone.

• Ability to foster meaningful connections with prospective students.

• Skill in crafting well-written and compelling communications.

• Capacity to work towards team objectives while also being self-directed and internally motivated.

• Flexibility to work a schedule that includes weeknights and Saturdays.

• Consistent adherence to the assigned work schedule.

• Dependable availability during scheduled work hours.

• Capability to sit and work at a desk on a computer for extended durations.

• Maintain a professional, distraction-free home office environment without conflicting responsibilities.

• Home office must be equipped with DSL or cable internet, directly connected to a modem/router via Ethernet; dial-up, wireless, and satellite internet connections are not acceptable.
